Cold Case, yet another leading role for Nicholas Downs

Nicholas Downs, an Illumination Pictures Inc. principle partner, will be guest starring on the hit CBS TV series Cold Case. The episode will air on CBS, September 23, at 9:00 PM. Illumination Pictures Inc., and its affiliates will be hosting a private viewing party.

In the Cold Case episode “Thrill Kill” Nicholas Downs was cast as the early Dylan Noakes. The characters later and current portrayal is played by Kirk Acevedo, who also stars in the hit shows OZ, and Band Of Brothers. A misunderstood kid from “the wrong side of the tracks,” Dylan Noakes finds himself at the wrong place at the wrong time and gets accused of murdering three ten year old boys. Convicted as an accomplice, Dylan Noakes is now serving a life term.

Nicholas Down’s has been cast in projects such as Pearl Harbor, Boston Public, The Girl Next Door, and Constantine. His most recent role is the leading character Kevin Daniels in the Illumination Pictures feature film Anderson’s Cross.

Anderson’s Cross is currently on the festival circuit and has won numerous awards including “Best Full Feature Film” In Atlanta Georgia, and “Best International Feature” at the Barbados International Film Festival.
